  The scientific-analytical Journal «Legislation» is published in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan on periodicals and other mass media, the Regulation on the National center of legislation under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan , as well as the Regulation on the scientific-analytical Journal «Legislation», approved by the order of the Director of the Center dated May 20, 2019, №6.

  This Journal was founded in December 2010 by the National center of legislation under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan .

  The Journal is registered with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan, and a registration certificate was issued under №345/MJ-97 dated May 28, 2024.

  The Journal «Legislation» is a periodical subscription publication of the Center, distributed throughout the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan and abroad.

  The Journal is published with the aim of promoting the development of legal science, the state information and legal system, explaining the main provisions of the current legislation, publishing commentaries on normative legal acts, as well as legal and information-analytical materials.

  The Journal publishes original scientific materials on current legal issues presented in the scientific research activities of the Center and aimed at implementing research results into scientific and legal practice.

  In accordance with paragraph 5 of the Regulation, the publication of the Journal «Legislation» is based on the principles of legality, humanity, pluralism, objectivity, and professionalism.

  It should be noted that on May 31, 2018, the Journal «Legislation» was included in the List of Leading Peer-Reviewed Journals and Publications of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and was re-registered with the Higher Attestation Commission on September 6, 2024. The Journal is also included in the Analytical Database – Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI).

  The distribution of free copies of the Journal is carried out on the basis of the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated August 31, 2012, №453 «On the List of Recipients of Free Mandatory Copies of Documents» to relevant bodies and organizations, as well as to the management and staff of the Center, authors of scientific articles, and subscribers.

  In order to ensure the development of the state information and legal system of the Republic of Tajikistan and its unhindered access for state authorities, organizations and institutions, individuals and legal entities, the official website of the Journal contains the necessary information about the activities of the Journal, including scientific articles by domestic and foreign scholars published in the Journal, as well as other information related to the website, which is offered to a wide range of users.
